Tamagawa 2010 "Tora"

Tamagawa 2010 "Tora"

Year of the Tiger commemorative edition

In 2007, Tamagawa labels changed from orthodox brush calligraphy to the striking design in woodblock print style created by the owner's brother-in-law, eminent artist Sakane Katsusuke. In 2010, we realised that, on a yellow background, it transmogrified to tiger stripes, and we immediately undertook to produce a limited edition product of 2,010 bottles to celebrate the Year of the Tiger (tora).

The 720ml size is long gone, but we have some 1.8L bottles left. Though the sake keeps getting better with age, we have kept the price at its original 2010 yen.
